Finance in Motion is a licensed alternative investment fund manager (AIFM) focused on impact investing in emerging markets. We are supervised by the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority BaFin and provide services across the fund value chain and investment lifecycle to institutional investors, from managing impact funds to advising on client portfolios.

Our history spanning over a decade, expert teams, and deep sector and regional knowledge uniquely position us to anticipate and navigate the impact and ESG landscapes. Some of our specialist expertise includes impact, ESG and, risk management, fund structuring and operations, as well as topical expertise in green finance, MSME development, and a deep understanding of emerging markets.
We are signatories to the Operating Principles for Impact Management and the UN Principles of Responsible Investing, and all our assets under management and advisory are managed in accordance with their standards. In November 2021, we achieved strong ratings during our first impact management system independent verification in line with the Operating Principles for Impact Management.
To date, our funds have successfully placed over EUR 5 billion in impact investments across the globe by mobilizing funding from public entities, Development Finance Institutions (DFIs) and International Finance Institutions (IFIs), alongside private institutional investors.
Blended finance combines public (and/or philanthropic) funds together with private sector funding in an investment vehicle aimed at leveraging investment into impact. Such public and private partnerships mobilize more capital and investment to regions and sectors with the greatest impact potential.
