New Supervisory Board Member Supports Finance in Motion's Growth Strategy

Frankfurt, July 11, 2025 – Sarah Aitken has been appointed as a new member of the Supervisory Board of Finance in Motion, effective August 1, 2025. Aitken is Chief Client Officer at the British financial services provider and asset manager Legal & General and heads global sales. "With her strong focus on institutional clients, Sarah Aitken brings precisely the skills Finance in Motion needs for its growth strategy," says Sylvia Wisniwski, CEO of Finance in Motion GmbH, one of the world's leading impact asset managers with more than four billion euros in assets under management and offices in 16 countries.

Aitken joined Legal & General in 2014 from Insight Investment, where she served as Head of Distribution. She previously worked at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers and JP Morgan.

Aitken completes the Supervisory Board, which primarily provides strategic advice to Finance in Motion's management. In addition to Aitken, the board's members are Michael Phillips (Chairman), Elvira Lefting, and Georg Sticher.

Michael Phillips is the founder and managing partner of Castik Capital Sarl, a Luxembourg-based private equity firm specializing in mid-market buyouts. Previously, he spent over 20 years at Apax Partners, where he was a member of the Executive Committee and the Investment and Approval Committee. He was also Co-Head of Finance and Corporate Services. Under his leadership the AuM grew from less than €1 billion to over €30 billion.

Elvira Lefting was a co-founder of Finance in Motion and a long-standing managing partner. As CIO, she was responsible for investment and business strategy. She has focused her career on sustainable finance in emerging markets. Among others she worked for the KfW Development Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the China Development Bank and the ProCredit Group.

Georg Sticher has been a Senior Advisor at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) since 2020 after 30 years with the firm. Previously, he was a Senior Partner and Head of the Global Automotive Sector at BCG.
