The power of impact investing: impact stories
Managing positive impact & ESG risk
As an impact asset manager, our sustainable investments are geared towards generating positive environmental and social benefits.
But impact does not just happen. That is why we actively manage for impact throughout the investment cycle and in our organization. Our externally verified impact management system ensures that our funds for impact create tangible and measurable positive outcomes. We also actively implement ESG risk management, to manage, reduce and mitigate negative risks.
Our impact management practices are closely aligned with industry standards, particularly the Operating Principles for Impact Management, which Finance in Motion signed in 2019. As a signatory of the Principles, we annually issue a disclosure statement. In 2021, we underwent an independent verification. BlueMark, a specialized impact verification service provider, assessed our impact management system as advanced against the Impact Principles and current industry best practices.
In working towards making a positive difference for people and planet, we place a priority on effectively integrating environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations into our investment advice. In doing so, we align with industry standards and comply with sustainability regulation, including the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (EU) 2019/2088 (SFDR).
All funds under our advisory work towards a sustainable investment objective and therefore fall within the scope of Article 9 of the Regulation.
For fund-specific sustainability disclosures, please refer to the funds’ websites.
